Rental and Usage Conditions
Last update: September 2026. These conditions regulate the use of rental services and general rules between hosts and guests on RentHabana.
1. Nature of the Service
RentHabana acts as a technological matchmaking and digital connection platform that facilitates contact between property owners/hosts and individuals interested in vacation rentals, long-term stays, or real estate sales in Havana, Cuba. The finalization of rental agreements is carried out through direct communication between the parties.
2. Bookings and Availability Inquiries
Inquiries made through our availability widgets generate a pre-booking request or direct contact with the manager via official channels such as WhatsApp. No reservation shall be considered 100% firm or guaranteed until the host or administrator explicitly confirms availability and payment terms.
3. Rates and Estimated Costs
Cost calculations shown on the platform are preliminary estimates based on the nightly or monthly rates set by the owner. Final rates, security deposits, cleaning fees, or any other additional charges must be agreed upon directly with the host when formalizing the agreement.
4. Property Rules and Usage Guidelines
The guest or occupant agrees to make proper use of the rented property, respecting community rules, furniture, and facilities. It is strictly prohibited to:
• Host unauthorized parties or events.
• Exceed the maximum guest capacity established in the property listing.
• Bring illegal substances or violate current laws in the country.
5. Cancellations and Modifications
Cancellation and refund policies depend on each property and must be clearly specified by the host before making any payments or deposits. RentHabana recommends reviewing and agreeing to these policies in writing prior to confirming any stay.
